What is it that people want if they don't want change?
What are they afraid of? And if they are not afraid, what do they distrust?
I heard some disturbing news earlier this week, and then later this week I heard more disturbing news, mostly about a fear of change and an unwillingness to trust without controlling things.
One has to be willing to act and trust and be willing to offer trust up for an extended amount of time. Trust can't be extended for a few months and then shut down.
Trust must also be earned, and so we always need to give each other a reason to trust each other. That cannot happen in isolated dialogues. We need to meet and talk.
