There comes a time in your life, many times, actually, but they always seem oddly punctuated so as to appear to be isolated, when you have to make a decision based on your integrity. You have to make difficult decisions that will influence the lives of others.
What is the right thing to do?
The only way I know how to do this is to listen to those voices that I trust. To gather as much information as I can. To think from as many angles and perspectives as I can. And to listen to my true self.
What is the right thing to do?
Amidst all of the fear and turmoil, all of the turbulence and anger, all of the loud voices and doubt, there has to be a center of trust. There has to be a calm. There has to be a sense of leadership, a sense of authority, a willingness to face the situaton, the unknown. A willingness to make decisions. A willingness to make decisions of consequence.
What is the right thing to do?
You never really know, fully, I suspect, but you come to know, through right actions, and reflection, and responsible action.
